The Care and Well-being of Dogs
We all look for that “magical” supplement that will help our dog with the arthritis pain and make them feel comfortable. There are a lot of choices out there as I have tried several of them for my dog. Researching the internet for a supplement, I came across a product that seemed to be phenomenal for many. I decided to investigate further and then finally decided to give it a go!
Extend joint care for dogs is a supplement to relieve joint and hip pain and help with your dog’s mobility. It can help any dog, breed, any age, and any size. It helps nourish, heal, and bolster joints of your aging dog. You can also use it as a preventative for younger dogs.
Extend provides essential building blocks of growth, adjustment and preservation of cartilage. There is a special extra-absorbable type of glucosamine in the formula. It begins working instantly to lubricate joints, help cartilage retain water and avert impending breakdown.
This formula has 100% natural ingredients so you can feel assured what you are giving your dog is pure and healthy.
The special blend consists of:
The benefits of Extend joint care:
One of the best parts of Extend is that it is so simple to use. All you do is sprinkle one packet, which comes in a powdered substance, on your dog’s food and add some water to blend it to form a gravy texture. Use once a day.
One packet of powder is made for an approximately 40 lb dog. If you have a very small dog such as a Yorkshire terrier, you can use half a packet a day. Similarly, if you have a very large dog (over 80 lbs), you can give more than a packet a day.
It is an all natural supplement, so unlike medications, it is completely safe to try diverse dosages to establish what amount works best for your pet.
There are no known major side effects of Extend, however, glucosamine has been previously identified as causing some gastrointestinal upset or frequent urination. Any side effects reported were scarce and mild.
Moreover, there are no known negative side effects of combining Extend with your dog’s prescriptions or other supplements. Perhaps as time goes on, you may be able to reduce your prescription dosages for Rimadyl or other anti-inflammatory medications he or she may be taking.
If your dog has any allergies, go over ingredient list and consult with your veterinarian to formulate the most favorable solution for your dog’s health.
Most people will see results in their dog in a few short days. Some see results in about two weeks and others longer. It can take 4-6 weeks to completely kick in. Every animal takes to it differently.
My dog, a collie, was having a lot of trouble with arthritis. She had a terrible time trying to get up from a sitting position and even sit down from a standing position. We would assist her in getting up most of the time.
My dog is fairly large and she was carrying a bit of weight on her so that made it difficult. She was on Rimadyl which is an anti-inflammatory drug and Tramadol for pain. She was also taking glucosamine and vitamins as a supplement. .
At first, all the medications and supplements were really helping her. Actually, for quite some time they were helping her tremendously. As the months went on, I noticed she was having more problems again with her arthritis.
With all the medications and supplements she was taking, we were hoping she would get through the arthritis problems. I decided to search the internet for something different to help her. There were many varieties of products I looked at. Then I found Extend joint care and decided to research further.
I originally found it by reading “Bo’s story” about how a stranger that helped this dog, Bo, come back to life again with this “mystery” product. It was such a heartwarming story to read. I loved how Bo took a new lease on life, having so much energy again and being the playful dog he used to be.
I was excited to give it to my dog and see her come “alive” again. There were many reviews that stated how quickly it worked for their dog and was disappointed when I did not see any results after four weeks. I almost gave up on the product
Approximately six weeks in, she started acting differently. She started picking up toys again to play with and wanted to go for walks. It was amazing! To think I almost stopped giving the product to her is a scary thought. The package states it can take 4-6 weeks and it started helping her right after the sixth week.
Before she was taking Extend, I could barely walk her two houses down from ours without her getting tired but after taking Extend, she was walking around the entire block which was a huge milestone. She still walks somewhat slow but nothing like she was before.
She is an older dog so I didn’t expect it to make her a puppy again. I just wanted her to have some quality of life and enjoy the outdoors like she used to. It was so nice to see her pick up a toy and look at me as if to say, “Come chase me!” I missed that and I was so happy to have my baby back!
We all want the best for our dogs and it hurts our heart to hear our dog whimpering in pain or unable to run and play like they used to. Most of us will do whatever we can to alleviate that pain.
If you have tried other products with no results or just want something to help your aging pup, it is worth giving Extend a try.
At first, I was frustrated as it seemed like it was not working after several weeks, but patience was key. I am glad to say it helped my girl and hopefully it will help your baby too.
